Requirements

         The Health Occupations-Academy program

is designed for any student who is preparing for any career in the health or science field.

Through this program, students complete CMCC’s Medical Terminology course, as well as SMCC’s Anatomy & Physiology I and II courses and for a total of 14 college credits. The Anatomy and Medical Terminology are required for any major in the health field. Introduction to Health Sciences is 3 College credits through SMCC.

 

Eligibility

  • 11th or 12th grade student
  • At least 16 years of age
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Strong reading and writing skills
